The Week Hours setting in WP Maps determines how business operating hours are presented in the store or product locator interface.
Whether you want to display full weekly schedules, show only today’s hours, or keep the map interface minimal, this option helps tailor the experience based on your needs.
Clear communication of business hours helps customers plan visits and improves store reliability and trust.
What These Options Do #
The Week Hours menu includes the following four display modes:
1. Grouped Weekdays #
Combines weekdays with identical hours into a single line (e.g., “Mon–Fri: 9 AM – 5 PM”).
Saves space and offers a clean view when store hours are consistent across the week.
2. Separate Weekdays #
Displays hours for all seven days separately (e.g., “Monday: 9 AM – 5 PM”, “Tuesday: 9 AM – 5 PM”).
Ideal when your business has varying hours for different days.
3. Current Day Time #
Only shows the hours for the current day (e.g., “Today: 9 AM – 5 PM”).
Useful for simplifying the display and focusing user attention.
4. None #
Disables the display of store hours entirely.
Best when hours are not applicable or managed elsewhere.

- User-Friendly – Helps customers quickly identify when a store is open.
